2026 Board Election
Destination Silver Star is seeking dynamic, engaged, and community-minded leaders to join our Board of Directors. If you’re enthusiastic about the future of Silver Star and want to represent the interests of community and tourism partners, this is your opportunity to get involved. The board plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and policies of the association. DSS directors are volunteers, serving 2-year terms.
In 2026, there are three open positions representing the following categories:
1 position for Residential Lodging Director (rents their home on a long or short-term basis, two-year term)
2 positions for Hotel Lodging Director (Owners in Silver Creek, Firelight, Snowbird, Lord Aberdeen, Chilcoot, Vance Creek, and Pinnacles, two-year term)
Members in good standing of these categories may put their name forward as a candidate in the election. Members in good standing of these categories will receive an email with information to vote electronically and the candidate with the most votes will be announced at the AGM.
Election Schedule
The 2026 election schedule is as follows:
- February 23: Nominations open
- March 13: Nominations close 5 pm PDT
- March 16: Electronic voting opens
- March 27: Electronic voting closes 5 pm PDT
- April 1: Results announced at AGM
